A task so simple yet so tough…. to sit through 2 hour sessions of technical presentations through the day….. 2 hours separated by 30 mins of tea-break (coffee/tea, snacks) and an hour long buffet lunch.
Tough enough to pay attention to such heavy and dry stuff…. to make things worse, the coffee was not good (nor strong).. there was too much food. Imagine the added drowsiness…. -.-
My head was a…
I was still quite a yaya papaya thinking, “this is the heartland, and its a weekday night, this early… there shouldn’t be too bad a queue….”
Boy. Was I half wrong…. When I arrived at the front of the store, there was NO queue. I took my time to flip the menu, by the side of the queue line, took a look at the food models outside the restaurant…. then, when I turned back to look at where the “queue”…
Romans 8:27 – [The Spirit] makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
Not only does God desire for us to share our hearts with Him, He even provides us with the greatest interpreter to help us as we pray.
The participation of the Spirit assures that my prayers line up with God’s purposes.
Following my not so fantastic day yesterday, I was tired and I slept… but I dreamt of the dannnggg oven. *wails* Got up way too many times, tossed over way too many times…. I feel drained.
Isaiah 30:19 – [God] will be very gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you.

Singapore has officially recorded the driest month of February since 1869. But look who’s flowering and growing strong….

It has been a rather bad day at work…
Running a material evaluation with the colleague, I was to put the materials into an oven, set at a running temperature of 225degC. Our purpose was to evaluate the strength and durability of a vacuum seal, as well as the packaging material.
We had given our test conditions/specs to the vendor, requesting for sample materials suitable for our…
King Albert Park, or so fondly known as KAP.
The rather known and popular gathering spot for students, in my generation (at least). Located at the corner of the junction where Bukit Timah Road meets Clementi Road.. it was a place to be/hangout after school, place where we could find food and air-conditioning as we worked on group projects, a late-night fast food joint that allowed students to mug…
Matthew 5:1-12 (the definition of blessing)
1 Now when he saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to Him,
2 And He began to teach them, saying:
3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.
6 Blessed are those who hunger…
Held from 28 Feb – 2 Mar 2014, the Watsons Mega Sale was held at the Singapore Expo alongside a Pet Expo as well as the NATAS travel fair.
Well, if the travel fair had free admission, I will definitely be in there for a visit!
So never mind. No plans for a holiday yet, and least likely from travel agencies, we headed for the Watsons fair.
The friend was hoping for good discounts on body…
